bouncing Schimmel hammers

How close do you have set your lettoff ?  Actually... we are going to be 
shooting in the dark on this one without more specific information.  I 
dont think however that your problem has anything to do with the fact 
that the piano is a Schimmel. I run into this kind of problem on just 
about any piano from time to time... and the cause can be a lot of 
different things.

    Hello list,
    I have a problem with bouncing hammers on a Schimmel CC208T.  This
    is not
    the bubbling/bobbling hammers that can happen with a soft blow, but a
    rebound from the rest felt that restrikes the string on a sharp staccato
    blow.  The hammer flange pinning is a bit loose at 3-4 grams (7-8
    swings),
    but I don't think that is the whole problem.  Anyone encounter a similar
    Schimmel problem?
