Wow John.
Man there must be a cosmic strain of thought going on here. With my son
in the shop now I figure he is the beneficiary of 35 years of bootstrap
technology & my learning curve (steep) that goes with it. Though my Father was an
excellent tuner/teacher ....alllllll the techniques ,tricks & shared
information came from PTG friends, colleagues & of course the bootstrap school of
sweat. WHy just the other day I was complaining about this anomaly.....but no
one was interested. grin.....except me?
  Dale

We, as piano technicians, have had to pretty much pull ourselves up
from our own
boot straps. Being kept ignorant by self-serving manufactures, it was
not until the
PTG developed training to further ourselves in this field. I, for
one, would not be
where I am if it weren't for PTG.
