Hi Elwood, It doesn't attach to the "Key Levelling Device" in any way. When it says "To be used in conjunction with", it means is that you must level the naturals first, because the "Sharp Levelling Device" indexes off the naturals. Any unevenness in the naturals would automatically be copied by the Sharp Leveller. It is suggested that you use the front edge of the sharp when measuring with the device. ----- Original Message ----- From: Elwood Doss To: Pianotech List Sent: Friday, May 04, 2007 8:32 AM Subject: Sharp Key Leveling Device In a weak moment I purchased the Sharp Leveling Device from Schaft (#265, p. 63-old catalogue) that is used in conjunction with the Key Leveling Device (#255, p. 63). How does the sharp leveling device attach to the key leveling device no instructions came with it and I am an avid instruction reader. Dont tell me I wasted my money or that there are easier ways to do it, just tell me how to use it and I thank you in advance! Joy! Elwood Rev.
