Lubricating Syringes for CA use

Hello Friends,

I remember (vaguely) some time back there was a little discussion on 
applying thin CA with a syringe.  I also remember Joe Garrett suggesting 
that he lubricated the plunger with Vaseline.  Anyone else do this?  Anyone 
find this unnecessary?  Do the plungers usually move smoothly enough of 
their own accord?  Any adverse reactions with using Vaseline?  etc., 
etc.,.......
