<CLIP> >One last fun fact for you: it takes five years to offset the premium price >of a Prius. Meaning, you have to wait 60 months to save any money over a >non-hybrid car because of lower gas expenses Utter nonsense! I really do get over 50 mpg with my Prius, and it has paid for itself in less than a year. I have friends whose Prius's have far exceeded their presumed 100,000 mile life span. The only thing I don't like about my Prius is the universal presumption that I am a tree-hugger! In Fact, I am as conservative as Rush L. I drive a Prius strictly for personal economy, and it has proven to serve that purpose abundantly well. I do not charge mileage, and point it out to my customers that I can offer them the benefit of no mileage charge because I drive a Prius. BTW, I can get two grand actions (with keysets) in the Prius at once, as well as all the tools I used to carry in a Ford Econoline van.
