Improvised "piano Jack" made from the cast iron base of an old drafting stool, a bottle jack from the local surplus tool supply house , 5/4 piece of mahagany lumber and a 1/2" bolt.Total cost under 20 bucks
Very solid.
Check your local dump-transfer station--you'll never know what might pop up.
