Hi John, That's one reason I'm joining the guild is to inhance my skills and to meet other techs of course. as for the YP, I figured that would be a good way to put my name out there but I realize that it doesn't gaurantee immediate results. My wife used the YP for a cleaning business, and had her first call in 3 months after the ad ran. I like what you said about getting in front of people. When I visit that thrift store where I'm going to day in fact, :) people will approach me and ask for my card. I'll give them one knowing that they're not going to call me right away. My objective here is to get in front of people and patiently wait for their response while I aggressivly hone my skills. I'll keep practicing, building up speed, doing what I normally do for income which isn't much income any more, and eventually a door will open. I see it this way, if we believe that God is in controll of our lives, or if we allow Him reign in our lives, then He'll open a door that we're ready for. It happened already for me twice and both places were happy with my tuning, extremely happy.:) That's the great thing about trusting God in this business or any work, He won't make a fool out of someone and open a door that they're not ready for. That's pretty cool when we think about it.
