---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment This piano has been bugging me for a long time. Perhaps some of you remember it. The problems were: Excessive keydip, yet not enough aftertouch! Bobbling hammers throughout the piano, except for the high treble Spongy feel, as if the felt punchings were really spongy, yet the keys were not even contacting the punchings. Key/action movement felt blocked about halfway through keystroke. Checked key height, seemed excessive at around 65mm, but in the end it checked out okay Key dip was okay. Clearance in all possible affecting rails(damper stop, sticker, and jack stop rails) Clue: This problem is probably unique to this particular type of piano. Answers later....should be easy for some of you more experienced American techs to figure out.
