Yes. A highly skilled position that even the average 
maintenance man with a bad back that always shows up as moving 
help can handle with a few hours of patient training and 
applied suspension of disbelief. Counterweight - measurement 
of people as a volume or mass quantity.

Now we're getting somewhere.

Alright, cynicism aside. I automatically volunteer as 
counterweight without being asked in hired pick up at the shop 
situations. I figure my own personal gravity counterbalance 
ought to be good for something for somebody once in a while. 
It's always appreciated by the counterbalanced lifter - which 
often enough is me.
