For years I confiscated those little bags out of new pianos at the =
dealer I
worked with. I keep one or two in each toolbox; and, I=92ve never had a
problem with rust. On the hottest day of each summer, I put these =
little
bags on the top of my car for a few hours. This regimen has worked just
fine for thirty years, so far.

List,

I was searching the web for "regenerating desiccant" and came across =
this
product: http://www.zorb-it.com

Has anyone used it? I'm going to order some for protecting the tools in =
my
trunk.

With respect to regenerating the desiccant you find in pianos, I've =
heard
you can microwave it to regenerate it. Anyone know if this works? The
drierite.com web site has instructions for doing it in a conventional =
oven,
but I didn't see any instructions for the kind in the paper bags. Anyone
know?

Thanks,

John Formsma
