Hi, Joe.

Could you use a strip of emery cloth about 400-800 and smooth the 
surface that way? Seems like a couple-three strokes ought to get rid of 
it. Maybe do one pass through the set with 400, and another with 800 to 
polish. (But, yeah, what a pain!)
