1. A rather forlorn Steinway M, 1926 with a 20-year-old C+ rebuild---bought it for $6K from a friend's neighbor. 2. 1928 Steinert(from Boston) perhaps the best Steinway knock-off of the time---all original---thrashed, been ready to rebuild since I bought it---for $300 from a furniture refinisher---California piano---pristine board with crown and bearing---tight pinblock, small 2/0 pins...coukd be great.... Then the four pianos in the Atelier... which are primed and petted and fussed over---and played quite a bit. My best to everyone...... David Andersen
