Jim, Not intentional, believe me. I sat it, in its case, on top of my car while I put other things into the trunk. It had rained and I was in the "boonies", so I was trying to avoid water puddles, mud, etc. while getting into the car and just simply overlooked it because I was looking down at the ground. After getting onto the road and accelerating, I heard a bump and looked into the rear view mirror and saw it bouncing down the road. It actually worked for quite a while after that (sometimes having to give it a little bump) but it finally gave up the ghost. It might be repairable but I don't know for sure. I then continued tuning aurally, as I had for years, until I got here and ending up buying an SAT III.
