Agraffes

I've never heard of Dri-Shine. What is it? where do you get it? ect.?
As for the "Tumbler"....Yikes! Not a good way to go, IMO. That will screw up the threads. I have previously posted a couple of tools for holding the agraffes while buffing. If you can't find it in the Archives, I'll post it again. Literally takes the pain out of buffing agraffes.
As for Spray painting...Or, taking the paint off, I use just plain ole stripper and flush with mineral spirits, then water and dry. As for corrosion.....Tarnex takes care of that. Read my previous posts on that, as well.
The steps: 
1. Remove and place on Brass wire, (in order)
2. Dip in Stripper, til clean of any paint.
3. Flush with Mineral Spirits. Then with water. Dry on Terry cloth toweling.
4. Dip into Tarnex for a few hours.
5. Flush with hot water. Dry, as above.
6. Buff on Wheel with appropriate compound.
7. Counter bore every hole and inspect as you go with good magnifier.
Doing all this is WELL Worth the effort, IMO.
And, there ain't no short cuts, believe me, I've tried.
