Stripping tenor section for over ring

I received a call for the same thing a few years ago. Kent Webb was at
Baldwin at the time. He sent out a few strips of trichord damper felt which
I installed. Problem cured. If you are not bothered by trichord damper
felt installation I'm sure you will find that it will do the trick for you.

Subject: Stripping tenor section for over ring

Hi,
One of my clients has a Baldwin Studio with a terrible over
ring--especially strong coming from the D2 area. I'm going to try stripping
the tenor section but I'm not sure where to place the stripping on the
strings from a North/South perspective. I'd appreciate any input.
    Thanks,

    Sherry
