Ditto to what David said.

You should also double check the sustain and bass sustain pedals. Often
these are adjusted to tight with no lost motion, causing the dampers to
be slightly lifted in one section.

Subject: Stripping tenor section for over ring

Hi,
One of my clients has a Baldwin Studio with a terrible over
ring--especially strong coming from the D2 area. I'm going to try
stripping
the tenor section but I'm not sure where to place the stripping on the
strings from a North/South perspective. I'd appreciate any input.
    Thanks,

    Sherry
