  O.K. kiddies, here's a puzzler for you: 70's Yamaha Console, just did =
flange replacement due to bad hammer spring cords. In the process, the =
hammers were surfaced. The action was cleaned, tightened and lubed. All =
hammer butt center pins were checked and put into specs. Reinstalled =
action, did minor regulation to get everything smooth. Adjusted pedals. =
Tightened Bench.<G>
  8 year old pianist complains that certain notes do not make a sound =
when the sustain pedal is pressed and she is trying to play softly. =
Checked the piano for this malady. Sure enough, on soft blows with the =
sustain pedal engaged, many notes do not hit the strings! Hmmmmmm?!!!!!
