Hello List, If one HAD to replace the hammers on a early 1960's Wurlitzer Spinet, and had no choice BUT to replace the hammers, what would be the logical choice of hammers. This piano sounds like a child's toy piano, but the owner says that it sounded much better before a tuner juiced the hammers with a solution to make them sound better. She refers to the tone of the piano in earlier days as being so soft and melodic. She is a family friend, and I have to make an attempt to help her. Any suggestions welcome. Yes, I already know the opinion of many techs on the list concerning the Wurlitzer, so to save list space, let's not go there! Thanks! Al Pebworth Chesapeake, Virginia
