Terry, you can use a heat gun, or a method I like better. Take a  piece of 
aluminum foil. Place it over the key top, then place on of those small  travel 
irons on the high setting on the foil.  The iron heats the glue, and  the 
keytop comes of quickly without taking of any  wood.
