Yes, absolutely, and it also allows you to accept credit cards at a very =
reasonable rate (about $3 on $100).

You must sign up and get an account, which takes a few days, while they =
verify the checking account that it's connected to.  But customers who =
wish to pay you do *not* have to join (this is fairly recent).  Also, =
you can even create very simple invoices for them. =20

The customer needs an email account, and needs access to the Internet =
(as do you).  You send them a payment request via PayPal.com, which =
comes to their email address.  They use a web browser to make the =
payment, entering their credit card info, and then you're notified by =
email when it comes through.

There are a few small fees, but it's a cheap way to accept credit cards. =
 PayPal is owned by eBay now.
