hammers - correlation of $ & quality

Hello all,
   I am replacing the hammers on an old upright.  What correlation is
there between the cost and quality of hammers?  For example I notice
that NewOctave has a set for $135, but there are other sets out there
for quite a bit more than this.  I ask since I'm being tempted by the
fact that the N.O. hammers come bored, which would save me some
trouble.
