Jon,
You have the "new/improved" version! The screw on the upper part of the =
"Jack/wippen" assembly is to tension for "lift". The lower screw, I've =
not seen before! (might have something to do with the player thingee, =
but I doubt it.These puppies are prone to the springs breaking! They =
have at least 2 different spring diameters, as in Steinways, etc. The =
fact that it's a player probably will exacerbate this problem! I have =
many replacement "jack/wippen" assemblies, un-used at this point. With =
the exception of the various adjustment screws being in different =
locations and the weird spring that functions as a balancier, they =
"regulate" the same as other grands. I hope that is of some help.
