It has a multi page spread on the Mason & Hamlin and a pic of the underside of the new "CC". with a DOUBLE Centripetal Tension Resonator in place. Since I have NEVER seen an old M&H CC I wonder for those of you who have, did the originals have a single ones like all the rest? I have been turned on by M&H's since my beginning in 1962 and used to own a 20's "A' till, the big D hit in 1999. Today I have a "A' from the Aeolian years to tune and has been a client for many years now. James, During the Aeolian years the 9' M and H had a single tension resonator, unless my memory is faulty here. When I first got into the piano biz in 1978 or so, that was the first piano I fell in love with. It was the first piano I saw when I walked in the front door every day. The owner got pissed at me because I used to come in early to play the piano--instead of work! The City of Palo Alto bought it for 12,000 dollars! While pianos made by Aeolian at that period had many flaws, they had that incredibly resonant Mason sound. I am looking forward to the CA conference!
