Flipping a grand piano upside down

Remove the action, secure the lid prop stick against the strutt.
Remove lyre and bass leg, stand piano on its side on a folded pad
(protecting hinges).
Place other pads to receive the treble end and flip right over.

With the action removed, the keybed acts as a place to grab when righting.

Be mindful of where the glue might go... I glued a straight side once this
way, with epoxy...
only to find out that it dripped down the inside of the outer rim and glued
it to the shop rug.
Had a bit of rim refinishing to do :-(

All in a day's work...

Regards,
