Terry Farrell Anybody know how good a tone that see-through (plexiglass) Kawai has? If it's about the same as other (wooden-rimmed) Kawais, then aparently the rim material doesn't matter that much, at least in a Kawai. I wonder if they mortised the ribs into the plexiglass rim -- I doubt it (can't remember if they do that on the wooden rims). And how is the soundboard liner, or inner rim, fastened to the plastic rim? --David Nereson, RPT
