Yes, e-mail can be dangerous.  
On the lighter side of all this, I once thought I sent a rather flavorful  
message to my (now ex) wife.  It ended up in a good friend of mine's e-mail  
box, to which he responded, "Jeez, Dave, you're a good friend and all, but not  
THAT good."
 
Being careful on the send button is sometimes a hard lesson.

It has come to my attention that the following  post conveyed a meaning 
about my colleague in town that I do not stand for  whatsovever. It was 
late when I wrote these words, I was a bit out of  sorts and it was meant 
to be included in the context of a private  discussion where it would be 
far less easily misunderstood to begin  with.
