I couldn't afford the more expensive benches anyway! ;-) I really just wanted the look -- and the cushioning for my bony fanny. As coincidence would have it, the bench is adjusted about right for me at its lowest position, so I have no need to play with the height adjustment. (Perhaps that means there's too little range of adjustment?) I forget the adjustment mechanism (been a while since I looked). If y'all would like a photo tour of the cheapo Chinese artist bench, I'm happy to post some photos. (In private, someone -- How do I do the tiny URL thingie???) BTW, another predictable feature of this bench is the particle board seat bottom. The legs and sides are solid wood, as advertised.
