Dear List Members:

With a swift stroke of his e-pen, Kent Swafford has authorized the creation of a new PTG mailing list: "ExamPrep@ptg.org."

This new list is intended to focus on questions and problems faced by Associates working to complete their RPT exams. Membership will be limited to PTG members, and mostly to Associate members in the process of upgrading. RPTs who have recently passed their exams are especially invited to join as "coaches" who have proved their abilities were sharpened to make the grade. Examiners will follow the list to make sure technical and tuning information is correct, or to answer questions the list members cannot field.

The proposal creating the list states: "ExamPrep@ptg.org is based on the understanding that members who are in preparation for the exams, and members who have recently passed the exams, are often very aware of the problems of preparing for the exams, and how to solve them. These members are a powerful resource for mutual support and problem solving. Helping another person to understand and solve a tuning or technical problem is a very good way to refine and solidify ones own skills and knowledge; the benefit is mutual. ExamPrep@ptg.org provides a new forum for members to explore basic questions and share their knowledge."

Subscription information can be found at <http://ptg.org/mailman/listinfo/examprep>

Please share this information with your chapters, colleagues, and especially with Associates who can benefit from ExamPrep@ptg.org.
