waiting, waiting ...

We were all sitting at the table enjoying a leisurely breakfast thinking we
had two hours before a scheduled plumber was to come and fix our water meter
connection. Wrong! He arrived moments ago and claims that is what his
schedule has us down for via the "office". Yikes! We had a closet to clean
out and furniture to move and, of course, our showers are now postponed.
Talk about plans being upset due to an early arrival of a service person!
The situation has reminded me to not only call if I'm going to be late for
an appointment, but also to verify if will be OK for me to arrive early as
well.
