noisy jacks

Yes.  Good luck getting a return call from Young Chang.  It's either a too
strong repetition spring, hard felt on the let off buttons, the felt pad
hitting the wippen spoon, or some combination.  First check that the
repetition spring tension is correct and not too tight.  Then check the let
off button by first listening for the noise and then inserting a thin piece
of bushing cloth between the jack tender and the let off button and see if
the noise is diminished.  Try that on several notes.  If it is then change
either the entire let off button or the pad.  If there is still noise, you
will have to remove the wippens and change the felt pad that contacts the
wippen spoon.
