What kind of buzz is it? A metallic rattle or a wood-to-wood buzz? If you have isolated it down to the lid and can't find anything loose and it seems to be a wood-to-wood type buzz, check the veneer on the lid (or around the case for that matter) by tapping with your finger around the perimeter and on the surface. If it's loose you'll hear a kind of clicking noise much like when you tap on a loose ivory. See if that's not the culprit. Any chance that there's a moving part in some kind of lock assembly on the lid? --Cy-- _______________________________________________ pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives
