What I am talking about is all of the stored = energy in the key when it is played. I think with a soft punching, the = punching absorbs more of that energy. And, probably more than we think! When we play a key, (at whatever velocity), the key bends, (some more = than others). When the key bottoms out then that latent energy goes = somewhere. With Andre's punching, I suspect/speculate that more of that = energy is exerted back into the "action" than if there were a soft = punching. K?
