Laptops vs ETD's

I've had my iPAQ for over 3 years and it's still going. It fell from
the top of a large upright and it was OK except for the stylus latch
(spring) that didn't work anymore. I had it repaired and it failed
again shorlty after. So my stylus doesn't stay in anymore.
