"The Humidification unit will simply make the De-humidifier work more!"

Indeed.

"Even tho the Humidity unit Never turns on..."

On the contrary, DC folks have explained to me that the on-off points =
for the humidifier and dehumidifier on the humidistats are set such that =
the two units will cycle back and forth - even in a case where the room =
RH was 42%.

I wish people would quite using the 42% thing like they do. First and =
foremost, these things operate with a range of RH values for the on-off =
cycling. Second, they will have some fluctuation with their accuracy. =
And third, much will depend on how well the soundboard environment is =
isolated from the room environment. I think one is fooling him/herself =
is they think all the air surrounding the soundboard is exactly at 42% =
RH all the time.=20

Slide a hygrometer up next to the soundboard for a week and see what I =
mean. (And don't forget - no bashing here - I love DC units - they work =
great!)

Sheesh! If the relative humidity NEVER goes below 42%, then why in =
hell would you install a full system. The Humidification unit will =
simply make the De-humidifier work more! Even tho the Humidity unit =
Never turns on, the damned thing is evaporating 24-7! To install the =
Humidity unit is of absolutely no use to the customer and simply a way =
of extracting more money from said client, IMO!
