Poor key morticing

Hey folks,

I wondering if anyone had good ideas or ways of dealing with keys that have 
a lot of wood around the balance rail pin.  The wood is not allowing the key 
to move freely.  Actually it is trying to bend the pin, as I can see the pin 
moving when played.  The keys already have new bushings.  This all makes for 
VERY poor touch.

Any thoughts?
