What the f.......

Thickness???? Hmmm, well, I guess we are talking about a 3% change in length
under the conditions described. If the panel is 8 mm thick - and let's say
5% change in size because it expands more in the thickness direction than
cross grain on a quater-sawn panel - maybe we could see 0.4 mm change? That
seems like a lot! But in the end, what is the difference, given the
question - how long does it take for a panel to react? Am I missing
something? Regardless of what happens during the reaction to a change in
relative humidity, isn't it the rate of change that was in question?
