Scoring = them first for one instrument, then another, etc. Why would he so = dislike a modern piano? Just another transcription, IMO. I can hear = him now, "Oh, what fun! Another place to play the D minor!" As for the = ET, Well.........do we really want to start that up again? William R. Go figger!<G>=20 Of course there are those that have, what I call extreme pitch = recognition. This = situation is difficult to get around and oft-times requires an Historic = Temperament to satisfy them. (Or at least to placate them, somewhat.<G>) I have known many, who have extreme pitch recognition and not one of = them can sing A=3D440 within 5 cents! (Or 10cents for that matter!) = Therefore, I maintain my original statement: IF someone had "perfect = pitch" they could not stand to listen to the piano, because it is the = most "out of tune" instrument! I also maintain that, J.S. Bach would go = off, screaming, in a rubber room, if he heard his works being played on = a modern piano! Especially, if it was tuned in an Equal Temperament![G] Best Regards, Best Regards, Joe Garrett, R.P.T.
