Here we call a 2x4 <<standard framewood>>. A rose by any other name is
just a rose. Its all in your mind there Joe believe me. I went from
Farenheit to Centegrade, MPH to KPH, miles to kilometers, etc etc ad
absurdum. When it came down to it, it took about 3 months to forget my
past as it were.

2x4 is just a name... and they arent really 2x4 anyways... any more then
a half liter of beer really works out to 500 ml anymore. You order a
half liter and they give you 0.4. You order a 2x4 and they give you
something close to 1.75 x3.5 inches.

Here... the general size is the same... its just the name whats
different. 45 by 90. Like I say... they always give you less then you
order :)

Cheers
