So if you subtract 1/2 a size it is the same as reading backwards from the treble. The reason they don't have a 13 stamped is it is 12.5 wire metric which is in the piano. This would apply to European pianos also? Has anyone mic'd a Hamburg at sometime and let me know? Of course this isn't of much importance if you mic the strings!
