no damage; the blocks are bone dry almost immediately after removing them 
from the pot. You can  also hacksaw some slits in the side of the pot to 
keep the coat hanger wires in place.  A comlete set can be steamed off clean 
  in 10 minutes or so. pretty good eh?

Sounds good. Any damage to the finish on the damper heads? What kind of stew 
meat do you recommend? :-)
