This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Alright, since you asked, here it is. Hope this chart doesn't get garbled in transmission: German mm Dia. in. Nominal in. American Gauge size 23 1.300 .0512 .512 23 23.5 1.350 .0532 not made (?) 24 1.400 .0551 .055 24 24.5 1.450 .0571 not made (?) 25 1.500 .0591 .059 25 25.5 1.550 .0610 not made (?) 26 1.600 .0630 .063 26 27 1.700 .0669 .067 27 28 1.800 .0709 .071 28 > Jurgen, > Thanks for the nice chart!<G> However, you left out #23, #24 & #25.<G> > Joe Garrett, R.P.T. > Captain, Tool Police > Squares R I Joe, let me know soon how much of that #27 wire you need for your Chickering <G>. It's going fast! On a more serious note, it is interesting that the Schaff catalog states that the Röslau wire manufacturing "tolerances are held to .0003" ". What they don't tell you is that these tolerances are from the metric standard. If you order a #13 wire from them, you will not get a wire .031" +/- .0003". You will get a wire that is .0315" +/- .0003. Just to set the record straight as I see it.
