Usually, people who are too buzy working cannot find the time to
investigate hours long Congressional hearings. Therefore their's is an uneducated
vote on election day.

Its easy and less time consuming to just turn on Dan Rathers and let
him "report" it in a little, few minute clip that passes by the TV screeen so
fast, that theres no substantial information for a viewer come away with. That
way, the viewer, (who has to get to bed to get up for work OR has kids to pick
up from volley ball and or other chores they cant do while at work) can get
on with their life.

Major network news is anemic. It leaves me with more questions than
answers. The answers take time and investigation from ALL news sources and books.
People just dont have the time to read or watch long hearings. Not only that,
their minds are on paying bills, how their young'ns are doing with
school/social upbringings and, home repairs, auto maintenece/worries.....etc. How could
they have their thoughts geared on what the government is doing?
