This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment I have installed somewhere around 150+ PianoDisc units now. Most are = general home installations with everything self contained but we do = occasionally get a request for external speakers. Most of these are for = really huge homes or in commercial locations. I do not endorse the = remote radio transmitter speaker set up. We have had endless problems = with humming, interference, popping, and other distortions that have = been nothing but trouble. I recommend hard-wiring the speakers whenever = they are remotely located. We have had a few requests to leave the control box free for locating on = a nearby shelf, and also some requests to mount the box on the side = rather than the front. We did an installation a couple years ago for = the Golden Nugget Hotel/Casino in Laughlin, NV. It is sitting in the = lobby and they wanted it so that it would play 24/7. We installed a = multi-CD changer under the piano so that it contains about 6-8 hours of = continuous playing before repeating a song. Funny thing is, about 20 = feet away from the piano is a giant mechanical singing bird show. Every = fifteen minutes while the piano continues playing a dozen mechanical = birds start performing in Disney fashion! Rob Goodale, RPT Las Vegas, NV If I were to install a pianodisk on a piano in my home, I would be = very tempted to explore connecting the unit output to my home stereo, = rather than little speakers under the piano. Why have I never seen this = done? And while I'm at it, I would install the unit on a shelf near the = piano, rather than have it hang down from the keybed like my 8-track = player used to hang from the dash of my '66 Dodge Dart. Why have I not = seen a remote installation of the player unit?=20 Hey, can you get any pianodisk music for...... the Monkeys? Not, of course that I have an opinion on any of this..... ;-) Terry Farrell ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
