Does the system have a bottom cover?
If not, then with the air currents in the room changing the air in the
soundboard cavity, are more than the system can handle.
That is why the system always worked better in an upright piano, because
with a closed lid, it is more of a sealed cavity. {I do realize that is just
a relative term, as it is not an airtight enclosure}
Contact Roger at Dampp-Chaser direct, he is always very helpful.
David's suggestion should be your first step.
