Oh I dont think its J.C. or Big G that gets the riducule.... I think its 
just that we humans seem to notice that there is this remarkable 
correlation between those of our fellow fellows who shout and tout Thy 
Name, His Will, and the rest of it with perpetrators of violence against 
their fellow man.... so we tend to get a bit... welll.... skeptical and 
most of us most of the time would rather toss the religion card around 
in more sactamonial type conducivements... if you get my meaning :)

Interesting statistic I ran into the other day..... 78 % of all inmates 
on death row are or count themselves as deeply religious and .... 
republican .... go figure.
