Yamaha C5 model question?

Hi all,

One of my clients, who is a fine jazz pianist, is looking for a
replacement grand piano for his home recording studio. I suggested
that he should seek out a late model Yamaha C5, since it is the only
C5 with a respectable string scale (the earlier models all had the
dropping tension problem in the low treble due to the slight hockey
stick turn-in). Also, in the latest model, Yamaha have finally done
away with the suspended bass bridge, which is another plus (I realise
that the C3 is still plagued by this problem, and the resultant short
back scale in the low singles - unfortunately, this is almost a
generic problem with 6' grand pianos). I have recommended the C5 to
quite a few folks based in my positive experience with them in recent
years.

My client is looking for a second hand instrument since he is also
budget limited. My question to the Yamaha-files amongst you is;

At what serial no. range was the latest scale design introduced?

Thanks in advance,
Ron O.
