     If it was a hinge it is probably
  vellum.

    You can get vellum cut for pianos
  from  Fletcher@Newman   in
  London.  Phone number is below.
     01-739 0566

  note;  When gluing vellum do not use
  a water base glue.

      Warning;   Vellum only lasts about
  seventy or eighty years.
  During this time however, it works really well.  =20
