Friends;

I am about to regulate and try to ameliorate a small grand piano , brand
DUYSEN , # 93389 (1955 may be ?) , that is sounding more or less as a
harpsichord actually.

The mating mating is inexistant, but it is made difficult by the use of
VERTICAL AGRAFES in place of the usual ones (almost as crazy as using
keytops in hammers !) - then indeed the hook is grandly inneficient (while
it may be possible to bend lower the strings.

What may be the tone problem cause by those less than perfect terminations ?

Thanks for your insights.
