Hi Rick,
In regards to vacuuming, most vacuum filters allow small particles to flow through easily. Jenson Tools carry 2 service vacuums that can use HEPA filters. They also carry a 3M Service Vacuum with an optional fine particle filter (.3-.5 micron). All of these cleaners are portable. From what I have read on this list, I would be afraid to vacuum with anything other than one of these. They are expensive but are probably worth it.
