A 440 Standard

This is what they had at the factory, correct?  I know that if we get a =
shipment of say, new Yamaha's and I get a new one for the store right =
away, most of the time they're going to come out of the box sharp.  I =
think they tune them sharp at the factory knowing that they are going to =
be getting flatter in transit.=20

Those Steinway forks could be set at 457 just for that very reason, I =
wouldn't assume that they would be used for anything except factory =
tunings on new, raw pianos.

to A#
